Projects

Built at Madd Gaming.

Madd Gaming believes one of the best ways to understand technology is to build something real. Our development projects provide practical examples of how programming, artwork, databases, interfaces, game mechanics, servers, websites, project management, and creativity come together to create digital experiences.

Madd Drag Racing

In Development

Madd Drag Racing is an original online drag racing game project exploring vehicle progression, racing systems, customization, game economies, player competition, UI/UX, databases, artwork, and game development. The project demonstrates how many individual systems must work together to create one complete gaming experience.

Madd Kingdoms

In Development

Madd Kingdoms is a medieval strategy and city-building game project involving resource management, construction, exploration, strategy, units, multiplayer concepts, and player progression. Development provides opportunities to explore AI, pathfinding, resource systems, interfaces, multiplayer systems, environment design, game balancing, and programming.

MaddWoW

In Development

MaddWoW is a custom multiplayer gaming and server-development project exploring server administration, databases, websites, digital infrastructure, game systems, community management, and online services.

Projects With Purpose

These projects aren't being built simply to create another game.

  • Programming teaches problem solving.
  • Design teaches creativity.
  • Debugging teaches persistence.
  • Team projects teach communication.
  • Building something from nothing teaches young people that their ideas have value.

Madd Gaming wants students to eventually be able to point to something and proudly say: "I helped build that."

What Will You Build?

Every great game started with an idea.

Madd Gaming wants students to experience what happens when an idea leaves their imagination and becomes something real. A student might design a character. Another might create artwork. Another might program a game mechanic. Another might design an interface. Another might build a website. Another might eventually create an entirely new game.

Today's player could become tomorrow's programmer, designer, artist, engineer, or entrepreneur.
